High Performance - AAA

 

U15 and U17

U15 (born 2010/2011)

U17 (born 2008/2009)

 

This is a year-long program for youth players who are committed to playing soccer at the highest level of youth competition in Nova Scotia.

 

Season Details

  • Late September/October: Team Formation
  • October - November: Training and potential 7-a-side exhibition games.
  • December: off
  • January - early March: training and at least four 11-a-side exhibition games indoors in Halifax or East Hants.
  • Late March - End of August: League (usually includes a PEI team) plus cup competition starting in July
  • September and December are off
  • Two 90 minute training sessions per week plus a strength and conditioning session.

 

Fees

Determined once the pre-season and competitive season schedules are available to reflect facility and training costs. Historically total fees has been around $1750 but varies depending on the number of training sessions on turf, performance training sessions, etc.

Fees include:

  • $100 fund-raising fee (parents can collect back)
  • Jerseys
  • Shorts/socks (players keep)
  • Team equipment
  • League and referee costs
  • Field costs
  • Strength and Condition costs
  • Technical staff and coaches
  • Governing body fees including insurance

Senior

This is for senior players who are committed to playing soccer at a high performance level and the teams participate in the Nova Scotia Soccer League.

 

Season Details

  • Training and games late October - early March
  • Team selection occurs during initial training sessions
  • One 60 minute training session per week.
  • Games each weekend

 

Fees    $485

Fees include:

  • Uniforms
  • Team equipment
  • League and referee costs
  • Facility costs
  • Technical staff and coaches
  • Governing body fees including insurance

 

Coaches 

All Valley United coaches are mandated to complete all requirements by our governing bodies (Soccer Nova Scotia and Canada Soccer) including their soccer-specific training and a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector screen.
